NSW DRA WEEKEND: CITY VS COUNTRY VS ACT/CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS JULY 2-3, 2022
We can’t wait to see you on the Anzac Rifle Range in Malabar for what’s looking like a fantastic weekend. The Range is looking incredible, thanks to the hard work and superior mowing skills of Andrew Halsted, Andrew Sims and others.
We have a licenced bar on Saturday night and a catered BBQ. You need to book in for the BBQ as we won’t be taking payments on the night, and we are catering to numbers booked. Don’t forget about our panel of experts answering your questions and Trivia just for fun. Bookings close 23 June 2022.
Thinking of staying on the range?
A full program of events is on our website.

SPORT HER WAY – NSWRA SECURES FUNDING FOR WOMEN IN RIFLE SHOOTING
On Wednesday this week, the Office of Sport granted NSWRA funding to run a ‘Women on Target’ program. The funding will allow us to support, showcase and let women know that everyone can get involved in Rifle Shooting. The program will allow women to experience firsthand, fullbore long range with a sling and open sites, scoped rifle of different calibre, Biathlon, Smallbore and Precision Service rifle – our participants can become our promotional voice when they return to their regional communities. We hope that through this program they can understand not only the technical basics of shooting but also enjoy being outdoors and meeting people from all different walks of life.
We will start planning the program shortly and hope to hold it in April 2023 – further news to follow. Thanks to Heather Smith, NSWRA Board Director and the NSW Biathlon girls for their leadership and support.
